Class Procedures:
1. Students
will be expected to take notes and participate in class discussions and activities.
Students will also be given an assignment each day that will be completed as homework. These assignments are due the next class day and will be graded at the teacher’s discretion.
2.
Students will be given approximately two quizzes
per chapter. At the end of each chapter,
students will be given a comprehensive and cumulative test.
Class Expectations: 1.
Attendance is vital to succeed in this class. It is the student’s
responsibility to get any make-
up work.
An appointment needs to be made with the teacher to make-up missed tests or quizzes as well as to set-up a timeline
for completion of other assignments. Students are given five school days to complete
make-up work.
2.
Students must be in their seat when the bell rings. Tardy students will
be dealt with as indicated in the student handbook.
3.
Students must respect the rights of others to learn. Excessive talking,
wandering around the room, horseplay, and other distractions are prohibited.
4.
Students are expected to remain seated and on task the entire period. They
may not pack up early and must be in their seats in order to be dismissed.
5. Food, drinks, and candy are not allowed in this classroom.
